Blood?
The taste of blood was so sweet, but this blood was different, both dead and alive. A hand moved to her mouth, and a pause. Teeth...they were her own...and tons of them, golden eyes shaking as they tried to focus on the cluster of thick, and wet teeth in the palm of her hands. What?! “It’ll be less than ten minutes, Time Hound.” A voice would echo through the darkness, and as it danced through the shadows and down her spine, her golden eyes would focus towards the darkness, the hands gripping the pile of teeth so tightly, her knuckles would turn flushed and then white and the teeth would even dig into the palm of her hands and fingers.
“That’s not my name!”
The pale woman would shoot up acid dripping from each of her words, looking around she had been standing firm on the ground, blades in her hands as she stood alone- on a roof top of a collapsing building. Teeth clenched just as tight as the blades in her hands, the golden eyes would soften as they scanned the horizon. Blades in hand not teeth, slowly she’d raise the back of her hand to her mouth- teeth in mouth. It was a dream, she would give a soft sigh, and then only the wind could be heard tugging softly on her silver locks, she’d tilt her head back and her nose would twitch against the air- rain was coming- and then a low growl could be heard in the silence, and then her hands would move to her stomach. Looking to herself in the reflection of her blades, she gave an annoyed sigh now.
Smeared blood had been down her chin, dried and old. She must have bitten her lip in her sleep, without a doubt. This would ruin her entire day, now food would be on her mind for who knows how long. Walking towards the edge of the building, she’d step over the tattered blanket she had been resting on. It was still better than where she came from, this was freedom. Stepping down on an incredibly rusted, and dangerous looking fire escape, she’d effortlessly almost gracefully jump down, avoiding sharpened ends of the rusted metals.
This was her second day here, and what a lovely paradise. A smirk tugged on her lips at the thought, it seemed as if parts of this area had tried to been cleaned up, of course she felt more welcomed in the isolated parts- she wasn’t sure if she was wanted, she didn’t know exactly who she killed when she was a killer, it was peaceful out here- for the most part, it seemed that way. Another growl, would come, partnered with her annoyed sigh. “At this point, i’d probably take a zombie...” she would mutter under her breath to no one in particular.
