It wasn't long after leaving the Crowbar for her to walk across the city while pondering if to call the number on the card or just show up at the station. The problem was certain people knew her face at the station and she didn't want to cause a stir just yet. Plus she didn't know how deep into it everyone believed she was with TYRANT. If Adam assumed she was, then she would have to assume others did as well.
Amy stepped into a corner store and made a purchase of a drink and a burner phone and stepped out side activating the phone, she dialed the number but didn't press send just yet, her mind wandered for a moment as she looked up to the night sky, to the stars...
"Was this what you wanted," she said out loud asking the deceased, "is this the world you envisioned? Is this my fight?"
These were questions deep in her psyche, but more importantly they were questions she needed to come to terms with because the moment she pressed that call button would be the moment she had to commit to one side of her life or the other. Her eyes drifted back down to street level, she looked across the street and saw the side of a building, she hadn't even noticed it before but there was Alice's face graffiti'd in a mural with the words: Never Forget...
She pressed send and raised her phone to her ear, "My name is Amy Grace, where do you want to meet?"
"Goodnight super cop, don't forget to go home and get some sleep tonight alright?" A few of the other detectives teased on their way out of the office. He just smiled and shook his head a small stack of paperwork he was filling out about his latest bust rested on his desk. "Yeah yeah, You guys take care alright?" It wasn't too long after they left and he was in his paperwork when his cell started buzzing on the desk. He looked up from his work with a confused look as he picked up his phone. "Who the hell's calling at this hour...?" He clicked the button and listened. Was this lady for real? "I mean, you sound pretty alive for a woman who died about four years ago." He finally replied, whoever this gal was must've known that the real Amy Grace had died and that her death made headlines years ago. "Look, I think you've got the wrong number so I'll let you off the hook this time, but I want you to know you really shouldn't prank call cops, especially on their work phones."

"Your mother is Aya Brea, 310 dash two, part of the 300 series project that involved me and many others I know," Amy said, she talked fast and over him, not entirely caring if she crossed the line or not, her tone was formal, a lot like the tone Alice would put on when she wanted to be taken serious.
She wasn't here to ruffle feathers but this was the only person she could rely on at the moment and she knew nothing about them other than who their mother was and how to dig a knife under their skin. She didn't really have much of an interaction with Brea back in the day but she was aware of her presence in New York in 2014 during Birkins mad dash to resurrect the 300 series projects. Now it was just a matter of getting them to accept meeting her, whether or not they believe she was who she was.
He stiffened up, he was really glad no one was around to listen to that little piece of information. "Alright, alright..." He checked his watch, damn the Crowbar was already closed by now... That cafe over near the shopping district might still be open though, "Do you know where that 24 hour dinner place is, Grill 13? I'll meet you there as soon as I get off shift." Now he was going to meet this lady and figure out what and how she knew what she knew exactly.

"I don't know the place, but I'll find it," Amy replied and hung up, she tossed the phone immediately and headed away from the location. She had a stop beforehand to pick up her device at the Kendo shop, Nico was expecting her and it wasn't far from where she was at now. She crossed the street and walked a block over and came across the brightly lit store front, it was closed but she went around the back and beat on the door until Nico answered.
"Bout time, I was about to just drop it in the trash and leave a note on the door," Nico said reaching into her bag and pulled out the iDroid and handed it to Amy, "firmware has been fully upgraded to the newest iteration, I also reinforced the frame and altered it to support the new ports and devices of the new iDroids. You might really want to consider requesting a new one at this point."
"Nah, I'll pass," Amy said, "I'm kind of attached to this one."
"Well, with the alterations, you could beat a mother fucker to death with it so keep that in mind," Nico said she closed the door behind her and began locking up and lit a cigarette, "so, what's this about a revolution?"
"I don't know yet, that's what I'm about to head over to and find out," Amy said putting the iDroid on her belt harness, "by the way, do you know where Grill 13 is?"
"Head down Central to Ennerdale, police station is on your left across the street you'll see an office building and its to the right of that."
"Thanks doll, you're a peach," Amy said.
"Hey, stay safe, I'm working on a pistol for you now that I know you're on your feet," Nico said with a nod and the two hugged briefly and parted ways.
Amy headed down the street like directed and look across when she was on the corner and saw the sign. She wasn't sure if he was there yet so she just stood on the corner and waited hoping her senses would guide her in this situation.
"Alright mark, I'm out for the night." He said as he walked past the front desk, the officer behind the desk said his goodbyes and buzzed Tony out without him having to go through those fucking scanners which always went off whenever he went past them. The whole department usually got a big kick out of it. He walked out into the parking lot and got in his car, taking off his tie and suit vest and slipped on his jacket before starting his card and driving out of the parking lot. It was only a few seconds before he pulled up to the parking area of the shopping district and got out of his car. Walking towards the diner he kept an eye out for anyone around the area who might end up approaching him.

She waited, when she was sure he wasn't there yet she went inside around the time he was pulling up, a waitress told her to seat herself and she did at a table off in the corner, the waitress came over with a single glass.
"Dining alone?"
"No," Amy replied, "I'm meeting a friend, they'll be here soon."
"Got it, want to order anything while you wait?"
"Double cheese burger, add bacon, extra cheese, grilled mushrooms, jalapeno's a side of fries with that, if you could I'd also like to request some mozzarella sticks to come out at the same time. Uh, also a order of the tatter tots," Amy said, she was reading the menu from someone who was looking at it at the bar across the room and smiled at the waitress who was writing it all down.
"You must be starving," the waitress said with a little giggle.
"You have no idea," Amy replied, it had been four years since her last meal, she was running on E.
He walked into the restaurant and looked around, as soon as he heard the same voice he heard over the phone he headed over to it, when she asked his order he just asked for a water and thanked her as she left. He sat down and looked around, "Well now I definitely don't believe you." He finally spoke up, "Amy Grace would be about in her forties, even accounting for her augmentations you barely even look a day over your mid twenties." He said as he studied her, "Though I do see it in the face, so what are you like her daughter or something?"

"I'd be 39 right now," Amy replied, the waitress quickly was back at the table and sat down two glasses of water, "but aside from the years I've spent in stasis, I recently went through reaugmentational surgeries while rehabbing from a devastating fall I took back in '25. To be fair though, it doesn't matter if you believe me when I say who I am, I am here for information and a friend of a friend pointed me in your direction."
Amy slipped his business card from her pocket and flicked it onto the table in front of him, "think he goes by the name Robert now. Grumpy guy, blond hair, scar on his face. Named his business the Crowbar because he's not subtle at all."
"Wait you know the Ol' man?" He took a minute before speaking up again, maybe she was who she said she was, either way she knew the Old man so she couldn't be that bad... then again it seemed like a lot of people knew the Old Man. Wouldn't be surprising considering he'd been in Raccoon City since way back in '05. "Alright then, I'll tell you what. If you can tell me the Old man's real name, and I mean his actual name. I'll listen to what you have to say." He paused for a moment taking a drink from his water, "Though I won't promise that I'll buy what you're trying to sell."

Amy smirked, "I'll do you one better."
She unclipped her iDroid and shifted through some files before coming across one of her encrypted files which she quickly unlocked, there was a single picture saved among a hundred written entries and she displayed the picture and sat the iDroid down turning it so the holo display would face him.
Amy poked the back of the image so he could see who she was referring to, "on the right is Carlos Olivera, he was the White Rabbit quarter master and one of my first mentors. There's Alice, we all know her face by now given that people are just painting it on the walls at this point. Here I am, and next to me is my best friend, Adam Kurgan. Next to him is Rain Ocampo, Jill Valentine, LJ, and this grumpy bastard is Alex Chambers. Four of us are still alive from this picture, four of us are dead, I'm not one of them."
He observed the picture closely, nodding his head. "Well alright then." He looked closely at Adam, it was definitely a younger version of the Old Man. Like it was crazy though the start difference and it made him immediately wonder what kind of hells had he gone through in order to turn from such a bright and cheerful looking young kid to the person who sits behind the bar most nights. "Alright so then, first of all, sorry and pleasure to meet you. Second, what do you need me for exactly?"

"No need to apologize," Amy said killing the display as the waitress approached the table setting down the burger, mozzarella sticks, tatter tots and fries.
"Anything else I can get for you dear," she asked Amy.
"I'm good, thank you," Amy replied and the waitress headed off. Amy motioned for any of her side items hoping he might indulge. She began working her burger, cutting it in half and examining it, she could feel her mouth begin to water almost immediately.
"TYRANT, what are they about and what do you know about them," Amy asked picking up half her burger, she pushed her plate forward offering the other half to him and took a bite, it wasn't great but it was the first food she had eaten in four years. While she wasn't exactly starving to death and she did have all the nutrients she needed in her body this was simply amazing to start off her rebirth.
"Oh boy..." he replied politely turning down the offer for food, he was still full from his meal earlier in the night. "They're a somewhat low level Street gang that have been causing a lot of problems recently, they originally just started off small, simple taggings and the occasional assault on people known to have anti-B.O.W. views. But recently they've been upping their level by breaking into Gentec warehouses, distribution centers and shipments of B.O.W. suppressants and just ransacking them or destroying the medicine. We just caught a few who were trying to do it on the north end of town tonight." He started to explain, taking a moment to drink his drink.
"We haven't really been able to get much info out of anyone we arrest but a lead on the inside says the group is headed by a guy named Adrian Diaz, and there's suspicion that he's tied to the B.O.W. crime organization out in Chicago. KING I believe they're called."

Adrian Diaz? The Spanish ice dancer, she almost asked that out loud but let the humor stay in her head as she finished off half her burger during his musings and began working on the mozzarella sticks. She had never really had real mozzarella sticks so now that she could have store bought frozen until deep fried ones she could be happy with the result of burning her lip the moment she bit into the first one.
"Fuck," she said softly before going all in and followed up with a question, "I used to have ties with KING, I'm assuming they're not the same as they were in 2020. I think back then Annette Birkin was on their council. I'm going to assume there's no way for me to speak with the guys you caught tagging?"
