"There isn't going to be any rescue, we have to get out of here!"
"Wait a minute... Marc? He's still alive?" There was almost a tone of happiness before he realized he wouldn't exactly be able to make contact, his death is probably what triggered Marc to show up again. He grew quiet as he entered the room and leaned against the nearest wall as Sazon got around to everyone's introductions, when she mentioned him he simply waved before Harmony spoke up. "Wait what?" He asked but he through his hands up and shook his head, "Not important now, later." His curiosity was peaked now, a large chunk of his past that he always felt was missing was right there ready to be revealed but it would have to wait.

Harmony winked at him and mouthed, 'after', to him.
"I am ready to accept your terms so long as you do not plan to use my research or me for biological warfare or extermination events," Dr. Isaacs said.
"You don't even know what I am asking of you," Sazon replied.
"I don't think you'll be handing me a gun to fight for you so you're going to ask me for my mind and it is yours for the time being," Dr. Isaacs said in retort, he had a sly smile on his face.
"Very well, and what about you," she said looking at Harmony.
"I guess so," she said as well, "I'm not a scientist anymore, that part of my brain is kind of shot after the trauma from the augmentation period. I'm pretty dyslexic nowadays. It's a pain in the ass to share my work, I just can't do it anymore."
"You are free to explore the facility at your leisure, I'm having rooms made up for the three of you as we speak, restricted areas are labeled. If you'll excuse me, I need to handle a few things we can have a one on one in about an hour to fully put together a contract," Sazon said to Dr. Isaacs.
"Go on go on, I'll be looking for a nice place to sit and smoke," he said.
"The Auditorium is designed to simulate the outside world and is a very peaceful place," Sazon said as she headed out the door.
He nodded towards Harmony as if to agree before giving her a thumbs up. He leaned back against the wall and listened to everything going on, the truth was he had no idea who most of these people were. He knew about Harmony due to past events and old Umbrella files which were hacked and stolen. But even then most of it was just less than complete. The other one though, Isaacs, he had no freaking clue who that guy was.
He waited till almost everyone cleared out, before Sazon would leave he got her attention. "You probably don't need it, but I can help with Marc if need be, he's old school which means lots of old codes and shit we used to use to keep you guys off out of our business are back in the game." He said before he himself started walking out of the room before he stopped and looked over his shoulder at Harmony, "When you're free, come find me. Shouldn't be too hard." He said, the truth was even still around her there was a buzzing feeling in his head, if she had that feeling too then locating one another would be an easy thing.

"I have nothing to do and no where to sleep yet so I am not busy," she said getting out of her chair and standing up, she then proceeded to follow him. She watched down the hall as Abram and Isaac moved away toward a sign that said auditorium, she didn't like leaving him alone but she didn't distrust Sazon and knew they were in good hands at the moment.
"Adam right? Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot, I don't tend to remember too much of the people who have come and gone in my life," she said as she followed.
"It's no problem honestly." He replied, "I'm not like Amy or Alice or any of the more familiar names, I tend to be easily forgettable. But I like it that way so it works out." He walked along, though he usually went somewhere completely different. The auditorium was nice but it never really felt like the same thing. "To be fair this is the first time we've officially met." He said with a bit of a smirk, a joke which now a days he wasn't exactly known for, where as before he would've been making jokes and witty remarks. "It's probably weird seeing me walking and talking and not in a tank or comatose on an operating table huh?"

"Not going to lie to you," she said brushing her hair out of her face, "I don't remember too much of my job from my time at Umbrella, part of me was lost during the alteration process and when my sleep cycle was completed I lost a good bit more trying to regain my personality. I have memories from then but most of it is one blur next to another."
"Kind of like my reason for working for Umbrella, all I've known in my adult life is that Umbrella is terrible, so why the hell did I work on them and turn myself into what I am now? Ya know?"
He simply shrugged, "That's a question a lot of asked growing up." He replied to her question, he lead her to an elevator which opened when he got near it and he stepped in. "Why would anyone work for Umbrella, why would anyone willingly put in with those bastards." The elevator would close as soon as she stepped inside and he'd press a button before took them up, it was a high speed elevator so they reached their location within a matter of minutes. "I get what it's like though, having to piece together information about yourself when you have nothing really to go off of. Scouring lab reports and write ups and anything you can find just to learn about who you are and what you came from but still not having all the information as you live."

"It's one part that one part knowing everything at the same time," she said as they road the elevator, "I remember interactions with Himura, Serroth, Birkin and others and I remember being rather pleasant but then it's darkness. I don't think I ever realized that my work for Umbrella was 'diabolical' to be honest. When recruited on I was offered a chance to better humanity for the future."
"In came the 300 program, I'm credited with being the mastermind behind most of it yet what I remember of it is having orphans sent to me who had ailments and trying to fix them with the Beta strain. After enough failures and deaths you get desensitized to it, especially when you are told it is to help better their lives and that your research will be the salvation of humanity in the long term."
She was rather casual about how she talked about it, as if she had gone over this enough times in her head to wash the emotion out of it, "at the end of the day, the failures because monsters and the successes were deemed failures because they were like you. Serroth attempted to sabotage my work and get me removed because I was on to something. I'm still not sure why I volunteered to become 320."
"Wait... so most of the 300 series, we were orphans? But some of the found files have people like old known serial killers listed" It made sense though, the first file he ever found on himself was in a small dense underground lab under the Raccoon City Orphanage, then again that was under the false label of Bio-Adam. Later on in his life he had tried to find anything related, parents, actual siblings nothing really came up. That seemed about right, Amy got a parent and sisters in a way. He shook the thought from his mind as the elevator dinged, they were on top of a platform on what seemed like a really big radio tower.
This was typically a look out area to make sure the Lodge wasn't compromised. The view over looked a dense patch of Arklay Forest with a mountain range off to their north east, he stepped out from the elevator and over to the balcony where a few lookouts were standing by. One of them tossed him a pack from their pocket. "Went to the store today so they're fresh." Wraith raised his chin saying thanks as he walked to the railing and leaned against it. He opened the pack and pulled one out, offering her one as well.
"I come out here to think." He said turning so that his back was leaning against the railing as he went about producing a small flame from his hand and lighting his smoke up. "What you said about Keto sabotaging you sounds about right. Seemed like he was a jealous cunt."

"That'll kill you," she said when he offered.
She leaned against the railing, "Keto was a brilliant man known for many things, I don't think Jealous was the right word, I think I threatened his position. I apparently wasn't in the loop just yet about how things worked, I was in a way Keto's replacement which means Hija would have killed him."
There was a lot going on in her head, "anyways, the 300 series wasn't entirely handled by me. I started it but there were a dozen hands into it. In later records I found out I was solely responsible for the advances on 313 and 314, but I had no hand in the 312 series, my only contribution was research on the beta virus. Several of the orphans that were to be used from 300 to 310 ended up failing and became later numbers when Keto dived into it. Only successes got official numbers so if something went from failed to success it would be reintroduced into the program."
She put her hands together and crossed her fingers, "I did have a hand in the 400 series as well, but only research for the D-Gene alterations to make it not lethal to 98% of anyone who tampered with it."
There was a little sigh that escaped her, "to think, at 16 I started my internship with Umbrella and by 19 I had already developed enough damage to literally end the world without knowing I was doing it."
"So will a .500 smith and wessen round but I was brought back from that." He joked slightly before she mentioned Keto, Out of sheer habit the words slipped from his mouth, "Keto was a bastard, I'm still glad I killed him." Everything she said made him feel oddly at ease for some reason, he always pictured her as some sort of sociopath or something. The files that WONDERLAND had found simple stated she was the matriarch of the 300 series so he always thought in some weird way she was his mother.
Then again he thought he'd been drafted from scratch, which meant that since he wasn't, she wasn't in any way related to him other than having a hand in making him what he was. It almost meant that a long burning question in his head was finally answered. He was human at one point in his life, and that fact was oddly... uplifting for him. "Out of curiosity, did you remember actually ever meeting me? Before all of the experiments began I mean."

"No," she said, "I mean, maybe, you wouldn't have been the only blond haired child. If you were the successful one then there's a good chance you were around fifty to sixty in the group because with every success was nearly fifty failures."
When she said it like that she sounded like a monster so she clarified, "not every failure was by my hand, some of them was by the diseases the children had. Most of the kids were found on the streets some in orphanages but all of them were undesired by society. The first step was treatment for their ailments, following that would be genetic alteration, in some cases the alteration was the answer to their ailment."
she began rotating her thumbs around each other, "and not every success became part of the 300 series. Some of the children were actually raised in the facility, others adopted by members of the facility. It was the ones who weren't adopted or taken elsewhere that became subjects for the further experiments."
"I see." He replied taking a hit from his cigarette. That was a dead end, but then again he did expect it. "The treatments seemed to not work then, I constantly suffered from degeneration, even when we thought I'd been cured of it back in 2011, around '27 it started coming back even harder than before. I guess that's why I was deemed a failed product for so long." The truth was, the fact that he actually made it to the age that he did before he was killed by Chamber's brother was nothing short of a miracle. He took one more hit, finishing it off before stamping it out on the railing and tossing the butt into a near by garbage bin.
"We should definitely get to know each other more in the coming days though, this is the first time I've been able to be around you without any spikes or blackouts happening and I'd definitely wouldn't mind taking advantage of it." The truth was he wasn't much talkative, mostly listening and asking questions, rather to let her talk instead of bombarding her with his life's story.

"There is a possibility your ailments returned because the cure wasn't effective enough even after being deemed successful to be included into the project. 310... Let's see, if I recall there was a follow up to your number someone who had similar augments without the ailments. If that's right you were deemed a failure after the fact because of the returning ailments and replaced."
She was really racking her brain now trying to remember details of certain things, "from what I've discovered the 300 series wasn't to be permanent, it was supposed to be replaceable. They had backups for most of the early 300 series which is why there is a second 312 and a second 310 denoted by a dash and a follow up number to show they are the second in a series of whatever. The 300 program was supposed to be their super soldier program which is why things like 316 were created and why monsters like 313 were allowed in."
"Eventually numbers were given classifications. 312 is an infiltrator, 315 is Sazon Himura after her augments, 310 I believe was intended to be a frontline super soldier. The list goes on for a while obviously but then there was 313, 314, 316 which were monsters and classified simple as 'contingency plans'. They were controlled subjects to pacify the other 300 series members should they not comply with authority..."
She took a break from talking for a moment, it was becoming long winded and definitely wanted to give him room to talk, when he said his second part she laughed, "Are you hitting on me Adam Kurgan? Fun fact, I've most likely already seen you naked. Seriously though, I wouldn't mind, most people don't spend this long listening to what I say or care to know who I am because I am apparently extremely terrifying to other Bio-Altered individuals."
"Maybe?" He replied chuckling a bit, "Never actually attempted with anyone before, how am I doing?" It was a joke based in truth, he'd never actually attempted to flirt, or hit on or even pursue that level of anything with people. And with the down time he had some times, he had time to pursue newly found interests. And one other truth was that he'd been hung up on another person for way, way too long. "I mean, I don't blame them, before now I couldn't get within a hundred feet of you much less have a conversation with you. Plus I've seen the aftermath of when you hit the field, it's pretty crazy." He was paying her a compliment.
"In all honesty, I'd actually like to get to know you for you, and not just what some lab report or recorded combat data says. It's something that I got used to and started to enjoy during my time in KING." He explained, "I'd say we do it over coffee or something but the coffee machine is broken right now." Not that it was good coffee to begin with but it was still the idea that counted.
He pushed off of the railing and stretched. "I'm going to go take a nap, knowing Sazon I'll probably have another mission here soon so I get sleep where and when I can." He turned to her when he was finished stretching, "Living area 05, my 'room' is 527 if you ever want to swing by." He tossed her a sly smirk before chuckling and beginning to make his way towards the elevator.
