Blowing off steam

"Two minutes," Raiden said and turned to side door of the helicopter and slid it open, "this is my stop then."

Without warning he jumped from the helicopter and Vamp slammed the door shut behind him, Raiden used the velocity to propel him much farther ahead than he would have landed but then he took to moving across the tops of the buildings at speeds that even some of the fastest land vehicles couldn't move at. He would arrive outside the Hospital just slightly behind them but from the outside.

"You're clear Raiden, they have a tight hold on the front entrance and rear entrance locations, ZRS APCs and armed units are on the corners. Clear for engagement. There is a helicopter patrolling the area around the hospital. Hold position until we are in the area."

They were arriving soon, and there was a beeping in the pilot area, must've had a lock on the enemy helicopter. A weapons bay rolled open from the underbelly of their helicopter and you could hear the sound of a missile being launched. A few yards away there was an explosion as the missile had hit it's mark and downed the enemy chopper. Their chopper moved into drop position over the hospital and the bay doors slid open, the pilot telling them they were clear for drop off.

Wraith didn't hesitate, he stepped to the edge and then stepped off the chopper falling in the air and landing in a crouched position as he scanned the area, the shots from his rifle downing ZRS forces on the rooftop before they were able to turn their line of fire on him.

"Milady," Vamp said offering a hand to Harmony to help her stand and she simply got up, he smiled as she walked to the edge and jumped and he followed her, the difference in their landing was Harmony hit the ground enough enough force to leave four massive craters around her and Vamp landed lightly.

Over their radios Courtney gave the all clear and ground level there were two massive explosions followed by a slew of gunfire. Jack the Ripper had began his slaughter and there would be an ocean of blood in his path. He held the trigger down on the M4 controlling the recoil robotically using his visor to lock onto targets and he would snap to them, one of the APCs began moving toward and and fired but the shell exploded half way, their fifth man had arrived on the field.

"Your window isn't large, they'll be trying to extract him from another entrance soon," Courtney said over the coms.

"Understood." That was the only thing he said tapping the side of his mask and looking at the ceiling as if he was looking for something. X-ray really, he flipped it back and there was a large burst of wind as a psychokenetic blast took out a three foot circle around him of the ceiling and he dropped through the hole, another blast and the floor fell out from him this continued until he was at the level he needed to be at and he started advancing towards the ICU wing.

ZSF had this place on lock down but he was determined, downing them as soon as they got in his line of fire and even shooting through the walls thanks to the HUD in his helmet tracking enemy and friendly markers. His bullets ripped through their armor and their bullets never met their mark being repelled by his kenetic shielding he'd thrown up. He carved through bodies left and right, dropping them quick, the caliber of the round being used for CQB was definitely over kill, it slung the gun shot victims throw the air and blew out massive exit holes. They weren't getting up and he only needed one bullet per enemy.

He turned the corner to meet a wall of gunfire which he ducked behind a stone column to cover him. He plucked a flash bang from his vest and threw it down the hall it rapid popped and flashed seriously messing up the firing wall which Wraith took advantage of, coming around the corner and plunging rounds into heads and chests. He didn't think or feel, he knew they probably had families, they weren't like the U.B.C.S. or U.S.S. of old but at this point he didn't care. This was war and in war the person on the end of the gun was an enemy and they were put down.

He moved at a pace which would leave even the most seasoned soldier having to run to catch up as he cleared hall after hall on the way to his target.

Vamp moved across the roof toward the back entrance, he jumped in a leap of faith position and fell several floors, half way down he began throwing knives at the guards below and one unfortunate man was his landing mark. His feet hit him in the chest and pushed him straight to the ground, the full force of his body weight slamming the man caused his chest to rupture.

"We have several more helicopters moving into the area," Courtney said over the radio and the moment she said it there was a very loud boom across the city and an explosion in the opposite direction, the helicopter spun out of control hitting street level and slid into the front entrance of the hospital. Raiden was inside the building on the first floor now, he was casually walking and cutting bullets out of the air as they were fired at him before bursting forward dashing left and right down the hall closing on the ZRS soldiers and cutting them down.

He turned the corner kicking back a grenade that was skittering across the floor towards him, the explosion was enough to take out the small group but one of them ran up firing shots which Wraith slipped and turned, plugging a bullet into the guy's skull and dropping him. He turned back towards his target and started moving at an even faster pace, pushing back forces with a blur of gunfire and close quarters combat techniques leaving just hall after hall of blood splatter and bodies. He turned left then right before finally tracking the map on his HUD, not that far now. He expected fiercer resistance further up ahead though as he closed in on the target.

Further ahead of Wraith was Harmony, the resistance he was looking for was mostly a mangled mess of bodies, slumped in doors, hanging out of walls, one stuck in the ceiling and she was only twenty feet ahead of that bullets being thrown down range at her as she continued to walk forward unphased as the bullets were blocked by an unnatural force that she used to rip and tear her way through the soldiers.

This is why they considered her a monster, why she was so feared, her killing method was unbiased, it didn't matter if these men were mercenaries, soldiers, or the common man, if they fired at her they died a very brutal death. The ICU was mostly clear now as she swung on the last two, the left one slammed into the ceiling the right one was impaled and lifted off her feet by the slightly visible apparatus jetting from her back. Both men were discarded to the floor in blood heaps.

[Spencer Harker]

There wasn't much left to say about the condition of the forces that protected him. With the SOS being dealt with by an opposite team he was left with a military force that didn't have enough firepower to hold them off. This was almost intentional by design it seemed as if someone was setting him up for this moment. Regardless, he was unconscious on a breathing machine laying in a bed still on life support.

The guard with him already had sat his gun on the ground and knelt down and put his hands behind his head, the last thing he wanted was to die, especially after seeing how much blood was rolling from under the other side of the door.

It was a poor day for the guard, the door was kicked open and Wraith came in putting a bullet in his head and clearing the room. It didn't matter anymore, the man who would've spared the surrendering man was long gone and buried at this point and all that mattered was the mission. The mission which laid right there in front of him. "Room secured. Target in sight." He radioed in.

He moved forwards towards the machine, hard to believe that this is what had become of the last two remaining Himuras. He moved over to the machines keeping him alive, he had suspicions but he might as well test it. "Sorry bud, Orders are orders." He kicked the plugs from the wall and waited with his rifle drawn.

"Secure the target," came Courtneys orders, "we need to confirm ID."

Harmony entered the room and stepped across the room reaching down and grabbed ahold of Harkers face and pulled open one of his eyes, the right eye to be exact was burning red with the D-Gene just as she suspected.

"It's him," she said.

"Then we have a D-Gene sample," came Sazons voice, "this makes up for losing out on the 400 sample we lost out on with DeViL. Acquire target, bring them to me."

"He was on life support, how do we move him," Harmony asked.

"The D-Gene wont allow him to die that easily," she said, "bring him to me."

"Understood." He nodded to Harmony and moved got on one side of the gurney to begin moving it. He thought she wanted him dead, why the sudden change of heart? This felt a little off, but maybe that was just his old paranoia's coming back. He pushed it aside for now, beginning to move the gurney out of the room. "Do you mind providing cover? I'll deal with transport."

"Coms have g̸o̶n̸e̸ ̸q̸u̴i̵t̸e̴, we've lost c̸̨̰̟͆̔ó̷͈n̴̬͗̑t̸̩͋̊ǎ̸̛̫̒ç̵͈̥̓̀̾t̴͎̹̂ͅ with v̵a̴m̸p̷ a̵n̶d̸ ̷R̴a̶i̸ḓ̶̿̆͒̎͋ę̵͖̙̥̦̈́̽̈́ņ̸͙͍͜͝," suddenly the coms went static. There was no reply from Courtney.

"Hello," Harmony asked, "helloooo? Okay, we're on our own by the sound of it. I got you cover."

Harmony knelt down and picked up the fallen soldiers assault rifle and moved to the door, "on your mark."

She felt it too, something was off about this situation. They had him but what could be jamming the communication like it was? Something was closing in on them and she could feel it on the back of her neck, she used to make fun of some of the BOWs at DEAD CELL for saying that but whatever was coming their way was a threat even to her.

The comms started glitching out, he was about to try and reestablish contact but that Harmony beat him to it. He didn't like this one bit. He picked up on it too, in a similar manner but his entire body burned as it alerted him to the threat that was coming their way. He nodded, gave her the word as he pushed Harker's body through the door and through the halls working their way back towards the extraction point albeit slower considering he'd rather not have anything happen to Harker's body and they have a pissed off Sazon on their hands.

The radios were still fucked on their end, she got the hint though and she didn't need to hear it from someone else to feel what was coming. There were explosions outside as the APCs seemed to engage whatever it was, the helicopters on the enemies side began firing rockets, this was definitely turning into a hot war zone fast. It was almost like the city was back in ruins and the Mercenary factions were at war with one another again.

She lead the way though, unnerve at the burning sensation she felt, it was miserable, but the ZRS weren't anywhere to be found in the halls.

[Spencer Harker]

The wreckage of the APCs were littering the area, it didn't help the countless bodies actually made a pool of blood under his feet yet he never touched the ground. His hand was extended as missiles were ripped from the air and stopped hitting a barrier where their fuel sources ran out and something simply stopped them from detonating. The husks of the rockets hit the ground and he continued to advance forward, bullets riddled the EFG flying around him like an invisible barrier, this one appeared to be connected to what was left of his hard suit.

Mantis was still on the outside of the building the fallen helicopter from earlier hovering above him then thrown directly at the floating man. It halted moments before hitting him and shattered into millions of pieces like glass and flew around him as he burst forward closing a distance between Mantis and him and pummeled him with an insanely fast amount of strikes hitting him around thirty times in less than three seconds, Mantis felt bones shatter with every strikes, and then came a hand to his throat. He saw his body still there as he fell, why was his body still in the air?

Both his head and body hit the ground at different times and the man slowly looked to his left raising his hand at the outside of the hospital and the entire side of it gave away getting ripped straight to the ground so he could see every floor from the outside in.
