"There isn't going to be any rescue, we have to get out of here!"

Krieger continued to bang on the walls until finally the tone changed from a thumb to a loud hallow thud, "jackpot."
He put his hands on the concrete wall and simply lightly pushed and the wall split unnaturally, there was no mechanics to it, he was using some sort of power in his genetic makeup to alter what he was touching to make the pathway into the secret room. Once inside he whistled and came back out holding a beaker rack, "Anti-Viral agents, there's a door that probably leads to a hidden room we didn't find earlier as well."
His guys were about to move in and he snapped his fingers, "Yo, stay the fuck back. There's definitely T samples in there and I'm not risking one of you guys dropping one and starting a fucking pandemic. Jo get the cleaner out here."
"Got it," she said and picked up her phone and began dialing a number.
"This is the problem," Krieger said to Adam tossing him the pink sealed vial, "every god damn place we look Umbrella has something set up somewhere. No matter how innocent an area looks, it's most likely hiding secrets."
He snatched the vial from the air as it got in his range and looked it over. Wow he hadn't seen this stuff since one of the first raids he went on. The anti-virus helped saved a lot of lives when it came to infection rates. It still looked almost neon too which was crazy considering the stuff had to be at least 23 years old at the minimum. "That sounds about right, Umbrella were originally the ones who funded the development of the city back in the 80's, then after shit went tits up with the first outbreak and they managed to cover it up they pretty much took over the town completely." He said tossing the vial back to him. "Entire sewer system infesting with cancerous G growths, sooo many facilities we weren't even half way through the first quarter of the city before they decided to drop the bomb." God he felt so old talking about things like this but it was fun to talk about those old times without it being doom and gloom.
"Which means you guys are gonna have your hands full. If you guys want help I can talk to the higher ups, technically there's still a case for a potential biohazard incident so the bosses might authorize survey and clean up missions in the area. Like I said though, only if you guys want it." He had moved over to the opening and looked in the room which he found the other things. Yeah there was a pretty basic set up and just as he said a door to a room.

"I'm not against the help," Krieger said, "I just don't like outside powers sticking their nose where it doesn't belong."
"What he means is, we've had a lot of people offer help and when they're in good with us they usually start taking liberties," Jolie said back and Krieger snapped and pointed at her, "while we have manpower and guns we have to still be mindful of how we're operating because we're around a lot of people who want to live as civilians. That's the main issue."
"Had a shady PMC group offer help clearing some places a few months back," Krieger began, "one of them got drunk and handy with the bar crowd. Then he got hostile, thought just because they were cool with Gabe that they'd be just told off. Old Man doesn't play games like that, he had King and me round them up strip their weapons and then beat the shit out of them in the courtyard of the clock tower while the town watched."
"I believe his exact words were, 'defend yourself,' then broke the closest guys eye socket with a right hook," Jolie finished.
"Poor fuckers didn't stand a chance, the tried though, sixteen on one and he didn't even break a sweat," Krieger said.
"Sounds like Gabe, he never really played when it came to our lives. He did the same thing to a few S.T.A.R.S. guys who left him and his group behind when they were ambushed by a pack of hunters once." He said finding slight amusement to his story. Though he could understand exactly why they were hesitant to go through with the offer. "I could probably set something up, just a couple units and you guys are the ones leading the operation, just let us do what we do but ultimately it's ya'lls show and ya'll call the shots." He was trying to find a compromise, because to be fair there was potential for things down there to have mutated beyond what was originally in the city back in the day. All depending on what Sazon said, then again she probably knew and probably wasn't planning on trying to encroach on Wonderland territory.

"I'm down, yall can lead your own shit," Krieger said, "I just need the boys to feel safe is all. Otherwise, there'll be hell to pay."
Someone had entered the building and crossed over the lobby and moved behind the tellers desk and peeked through the door, "Hello!"
"Yo, its back here," Krieger said, "hows your husband Nicky?"
"He's doing great, thanks for getting him insulin," she said and pulled out two large purple gloves and put them on, she had a backpack on that she took off and unzipped and pulled a metal case out opening it. It had an Umbrella logo worn into the case but it was your standard impact resistant foam lined case that Umbrella used to move viral samples around years ago.
"Any time, we'll get out your way," he said and motioned for the guys to move into the lobby with him, "it's not much, but we have a community here. We don't judge people for their pasts, we're only looking forward."
"I'll talk to my boss then, though she's been a bit of a hard ass lately so whether it happens or not is up in the air." He replied, "That's a good motto actually." He said moving out of the way of the new arrival and letting her and who she was with get to work doing what they do. He was wondering to himself whether or not they were going to explore what was behind that door once the new arrival and them were done clearing out the room they just discovered.

It didn't take Nicky long to gather the things on the inside, she was soon walking out and locking the box and handed it to one of Kriegers guys and asked him to put it in her backpack. While he did so she looked to Krieger and said, "better safe than sorry, there's a couple samples that I've never seen before. I'm going to look into them tonight."
"Sounds good, any idea what they could be?"
"Not really, they usually stuck us in one department or another so we didn't cross over research. I was involved in creating an off brand of the T-Virus known as the R-Virus, but I can still recognize a sample of G, A and C at a glance. Whatever was in a couple of those cold boxes aren't liquid, so I'll have to do a bit of research to see what we got our hands on," finally she rocked forward as he fit the box in her bag.
He remained silent but he had a quizzical look cross his features for a moment. Wasn't the A-virus a relatively new virus that didn't really show it's face until the '26 incident? Then again considering Hija Himura did take full responsibility for that whole thing perhaps umbrella developed it and just never used it until then? It was definitely odd so just see it in an old 06 Umbrella lab despite it being on the black market for only three years now. In all honesty it was probably better to not dwell on things like that, it was something to save for later that's for sure.

"Alright, get her home guys," Krieger said, he never let the cleaner out without an escort just in case. Better safe than sorry. He never knew if there was someone watching or waiting for them to open these kinds of places to pounce.
Nicky and the guys headed out and Krieger stepped back into the vault and walked to the back room, Jolie followed pulling one of the power cables with her, she set up a light and then plugged in the ancient computer and booted it up, "you think this thing has AOL installed on it?"
"Guys it was two thousand and six not nineteen-ninety." He joked, only a little offended at them making fun of things from his era as he followed them in and watched them joking about the tech. God it made him feel so old, "It probably runs on an intranet server and a basic DSL line." Least likely that wifi was really a thing back then because it was just getting started before everything started getting infected popping up all over the place so one of the first things to go was the old internet and wifi barely got off of the ground until 2018.

The windows booted on a '95 copy, Jolie looked to Adam, "you don't understand, a lot of these locations haven't been touched since 98. Umbrella couldn't move as freely after the first outbreak even if they did get the heat off them. Usually we can date back lab samples and labs based on their OS if it's old enough."
Given that the computer hadn't been accessed in what seemed like 30 years she opened the root command and found the last saved file, "October of '98. Last entry by a Jim Smith, 'we've been ordered a full lock down following the Arklay outbreak, I'll be placing these samples for future pick up. Contents of samples, fifteen vials of T-Virus, a sample of G, and a sample of Chimera."
He deflated a bit when they were right about the ancient level of tech, he should've remembered because several of the hackers loved working with such outdated stuff. But he listened to her read off the last known entry before he snapped to attention, "Wait that last one." He blurted out with slight worry, Alice's white whale when it came to viruses, there was literally no information they could ever really find on it only the name. To such a point that a lot of them just thought it was a hoax or some sort of red hearing cooked up by Umbrella to throw people off their trail. "Was that what they just took away from here?"

"That's the contents of the lab via the last entry," Jolie said, "meaning it's with Nicky now. Probably the thing she couldn't identify immediately."
She continued going through the last data entries, it was all boring logistics and entry logs of what came and went from the back room. Krieger walked to the door and opened it, he was met with a concrete wall and then closed the door and locked it again, most likely the way in from the outside was blocked off with some sort of mechanism and to open it from the inside was a root command on the pc or a button somewhere.
"Oh... maybe someone should... probably... warn her?" He said before Kreiger opened the door and was met by a wall. He had to hold back a bit of a laugh because he could barely remember the last something similar happened to him when he was on a job way back when. It was kind of funny to see it happen to someone else, now he understood why Carlos would laugh every time it happened. He started looking around for what could be a potential switch or button.

"Not really necessary, I mean, I'm obviously going to text her what its called but putting a name to something unknown still doesn't really give us any insight, yeah?" Jolie pulled out her phone and took a picture of the previous entry and forwarded it to her texts, "regardless, she's a Virologist, I'm sure she can handle doing whatever it is she does to... virolize... Vir..."
She looked at Krieger who shrugged and said, "don't ask me what she does, I just crack skulls and make people think twice."
"This is why I sometimes wish Alicia was here, she used to just randomly spout a word or two out that was relevant to the shit I don't understand," Jolie said.
