Rough Drafts only, this is just to give people the idea of what the area and gates look like. Notice the front gate is a meshed fence gate while the back is a solid large double swing door gate. These walls and gates are only there to protect the Staten Island Ferry since the island itself is protected by the water around it. Four gates like this are present but only three accessible. The fourth one was lost during the retreat from Brooklyn. There's a Northern, Western, and North Eastern set of walls, the Eastern most one is lost.
The inside of the walls are set up so that vehicles park on the left as they come in the gate and most tents and merchant booths are on the right. The ferry runs from 5 in the morning to sun down. Once the sun is set the ferry remains on the Staten Island side of things while anyone left on that side sleeps in the tents or if they are a guard on the wall they use the barracks inside the wall. There are several buildings usually connected to the walls which are usually housing several hired mercenary groups to keep control outside the walls, the exception to this is the Northern wall where the wall is built directly in a circle of a dock and the closest buildings are across the lane.
