"There isn't going to be any rescue, we have to get out of here!"

It was the following night from the speech and death of Adam Kurgan, Amy decided to come alone almost daring the Wolves to come out to play but also daring TYRANT to make their appearance to her once and for all. If she truly was their Maiden of Revolution then she was in no danger, if not she would simply raise them to the ground and pave over their bodies with her own army, one she could get with a drop of a hat from the survivors of White Rabbit, Wonderland, Patriot, Zambi, and much of this cities BOWs.
She knew it wouldn't come to that, she watched the report over three times now to see where deception was in the words of the masked man, she knew his 'face', knew his voice, he claimed to speak for them then he spoke for her.
"Alright, I'm here," Amy said loudly, she could feel eyes watching her from multiple angles, the hair on the back of her neck was standing straight up, there were some dangerous people in the shadows, and yet she felt as comfortable as she has ever felt in her life standing in the face of the unknown mocking it.
Amy's instincts were not leading her wrong; there were indeed multiple sets of eyes watching her from the dark, and watching the dark all around to make sure that no one was here who shouldn't be. From across the breezy warehouse, a set of eyes became visible in the dark, piercing yellow circles. Step by thudding step, they drew closer, until the cloaked and masked form of Legatus came into view beneath the warm yellow lights far overhead.
"Our maiden is awake at last," he spoke. Though his voice behind the modulator was a mechanical warble of a noise, he managed to convey relief to see the woman's face. "I'm so pleased to finally meet you, Amy Grace. May I call you Amy?"

"Please do," Amy said, her hand was hovering the Hellsing side arm at her hip, seven bullets was all she needed to start a party, she examined his mask, from this range she could see every line in it every scratch and smudge on it, "you claim to be the voice of TYRANT, right?"
Her question wasn't meant to be answered at once as she followed up immediately, "how ready are you to turn this city up side down? Are you all willing to risk your lives for freedom? Would you throw your lives away calling me your maiden, because I'm not Alice, I'm not about to sacrifice people who are un-willing to die for the future."
Even before he'd seen her, he'd known she would come armed, but now that he was getting a proper look... good lord, that was Alucard's Casull at her hip. Nico, how do you do it? he thought. Of course that was Nico's doing - who else would it be?
He continued forward, closer and closer, until he was merely ten feet away. He heard her challenge, and behind the mask, he smiled. The eyes that surrounded them in the dark kept their distance, held their silence. Legatus reached up with both hands, fiddled with a mechanism at the back of his helmet, and with a pop, the front segment slid loose. He clasped it in his left hand, pulled it altogether free, and lowered it.
Behind the mask, two blue eyes in a scarred and weathered face gazed at Amy undeterred; a face she would surely recognise from her time with the Patriot.
Victor Karthe.
There was fire in his eyes, a resolve that seemed to speak a thousand words without him needing to open his mouth to answer - but open his mouth he did.
"It's been a long time since we last crossed paths," he began. With the mask no longer covering his face, the voice modulator was silent, and the Londoner could be heard clearly. "A long time I've been doing my bit for this fight. There are about as many of us who still remember those days as there are newcomers who just want to get to live in peace. They'll all be ready to go to war for you by the time you're ready to give the word - I'm here to see to that. I was charged to prepare the way for you, make TYRANT ready to become your sword and shield."

Familiar faces, all around her, people she's worked with in the past, all willing to die on her word for their cause, for freedom. Victor Karthe... I remember you. Survivor of Patriot, survivor of the raids, one of two major members of Patriot still alive...
"Good to see you survived that massacre," Amy said to him, "Alicia is convinced you're dead, so she'll be surprised to find out you're still kicking."
"Who exactly tasked you to put together a revolution? I'm so in the dark about this, I just woke up and got told people are calling for me to lead them and bring down the government. Which funny enough would be bringing down yet another Himura dynasty by the looks of it."
Victor gave a warm smile, and lowered the mask at his side.
"After the Patriot died, I knew I had to get deep underground," he began. "I laid low for a time, kept a good distance. It pained me to let everyone who did make it believe that I hadn't, but the only way I could be sure ExCell wouldn't keep looking for me was if no one knew I was still about.
"You won't believe this, but it was Alyson who eventually figured it out and reached out to me," he laughed. "The Patriot showed me something truly worth fighting for, but Alyson showed me the opportunity I had wanted to get back in the fight for keeps. She gave me my orders, and the timeline. I've known for a while when to expect you to wake."

"So as usual, the strings of my destiny are threaded by anothers hand," Amy said, she let a small sarcastic laugh out, "I'd expect nothing else from my mother. Most likely she's got someone else pulling strings too, probably Shepard, funny how the children of Hija are fighting each other. When the dust clears out on this one, I'm going to kill them both."
Amy was extremely serious when she declared her intentions there, "so, what's the plan? How do we proceed from an empty parking lot to the next phase of your plans?"
"The way I see it, she knew that you would be the only person capable of seeing through what needs to be done. You're a living legend - people are ready to follow you because they only need to hear your name to know what you're here to do."
Victor gave a resolute nod, then lifted the mask and reattached it. A mechanical breath signaled that the voice modulator was back on. "What's the plan? First things first - find out who killed Adam Kurgan, and why."

"I already have an idea of who, and why, it's just a matter of how to get to them now," Amy said, she took out her iDroid and played back the voice message telling her to change her frequencies and not to make it easy for them to hunt her.
"Trace this voice to every record, I want a name, so I can start carving it on the bullets I plan to kill them with."
Listening to the recording, Victor blanched momentarily behind the mask. Adam's death was not an isolated attack - his killer was looking for Amy, and possibly others as well. Whoever he was, if he was adept enough to get the better of Adam, and bold enough to outright tell Amy he was coming, he was not to be taken lightly.
"Send me a copy," he answered at last, and produced a nondescript iDroid of his own from somewhere beneath his coat. "I'll get technicians on it. Beyond that... do you have any ideas of your own about where best to start making noise?"

"Yes," Amy said, she was pairing to close by devices and sent the recording over to him, "there is a storm coming, I called Yuri Deminov, you might know him as General Benedikt, he was a mercenary Umbrella hired in 2009, wiped out the STARS that had rebuilt then and eventually he was fucked over by Umbrella so he lit up the DS3 killing it, wiped out the HIVE base, and left the city. Either way, Deminov is on his way here and I need to know when he's arriving and to make contact with him when he does."
"Other than that, the Crowbar is in our hands, it's going to remain open and as a small base of operations, that being said we need something discreet as well. So if you have something, or have a place in mind, I need to know now so I can get people on it to set it up for my operations," Amy said, something about her was radiating confidence, she wasn't Amy Grace anymore, she was the Maiden of Revolution, something Alice and Chambers once saw in her.
"I won't even ask how you got to call that mad bastard in," he chuckled. General Benedikt himself - he had been a major thorn in the side of the resistance effort back in '09, but Umbrella had made the mistake of making an enemy of him. Victor could only wonder what had transpired between him and Amy for him to owe her a favour. Then again, perhaps he, just like Victor, had merely been waiting for an opportunity to rejoin the fight.
"We have a few safehouses around the city, and a couple more sophisticated bases coming together," he explained. "Mostly we're building around the talents of the techs who've thrown in with us. They'll be able to help make sense of any intelligence we get our hands on going forward... It's all at your disposal now."
As he spoke, the eyes in the dark finally came forward. Six figures clad all in black, wearing full-face masks with marks of white paint, and wielding a disparate variety of blades and guns. All at once, Legatus included, they bowed their heads to Amy.
