2025
The screens of Time Square lit up, all of the current screens broadcasting from the television networks flickered out, live feeds activated on computer screens, radio broadcasts turned to static before going silent...
The logo faded into several test screens before flickering to the face of a man the world has never seen before. For the first time the real Hija Himura was staring back at them. He began speaking to the entire city, his voice was accompanied by a thick Japanese accent, it was deep and harsh sounding but he was here to deliver a message, "My name is Hija Himura, for the last twenty years you've all known me as the boogeyman behind the terrorist organization Umbrella. Some of you thought me dead, others thought I was nothing but a myth... I am very real and today I have a demonstration to present to you to prove how real I am."
The screen flickered, he was pushed to the right side of the screen while a black image replaced the left side, after a moment it flickered to life and someone was recording from another location. The room they were in would be familiar to some, the Wonderland warehouse used back in 2008-2022 as their main base of operations. Birkin was seen standing a bit off away from a woman who was tied to a chair, her clothing was torn and soaked in blood, a bag over her head, the front of the bag soaked in fresh blood. An ExCell soldier was with him, his hands covered in blood from beating their prisoner.
"The person in that chair is a celebrity among your people, she is known for her conquest across New York and leading the assault of my 'assets'. They call her the baddest woman on the planet but I think I've already watched that one die, I'd place her somewhere around the middle of the pack in these common times," he seemed bored as he leaned to his left putting his elbow against the arm of his chair and resting his cheek against his fist, "Alucard, pay attention. You started this game of chess and so far you've only been taking my pawns... I've taken a Knight from you already, lets see about a Rook as well."
Birkin was shadowed most of the way up his body but it was obviously him. The ExCell soldier grabbed the bag and pulled, blonde hair fell long from the bag, a tan skinned woman was revealed, her nose was broken, her left eye swollen shut probably broken by the looks of the bruising around that eye. It was Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing, leader of the Hellsing organization. The ExCell soldier pulled his pistol walking over to Birkin and handed it over to him, Birkin took it in his hand with hesitation and then stepped into the light, his face was visibly wet with tears. Was he crying because he was terrified or was this resentment?
"Red Devil? Are you watching? I will take everything from you, everyone you love, everyone you admire. When I am done, you will have nothing left. The next time you step before me, you will be alone in this world and then, I will consider it a checkmate. Birkin, show our friend out."
He stepped close to her raising the gun. She looked up at him, the look on her face was of disgust, she said with a tone of disgust, "I will see you in hell," Birkin let out a yell but he didn't pull the trigger.
"Tsugi no Lisa Trevor ni naritaidesu ka?"
"In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead shall be ban-"
Birkin turned away from her and let out another yell then turned and fired hitting her straight in the eye throwing her back in the chair in reaction, blood poured from the wound and Birkin threw the gun turning away he quickly walked off screen. Integra was still alive, her breathing had sped up and she groaned in pain and began to turn her head unable to see now, the pain was causing her to grind her teeth. The camera man walked to the front of Integra, the ExCell soldier circled behind her grabbing her by the top of her hair lifting her head straight up to get a better shot for the world to see, he pulled his knife from his hip holster and began cutting into her throat, she choked on her blood at first followed by the wet hissing as her body tried to breath but the exposed hole in her neck was just filling with blood drowning her. Her mouth gasped out for breath and eventually she slipped out from the pain. The soldier was sawing through tendons all the way to the spine where he twisted hard breaking the bones and eventually ripped her head from her body.
"Check, your move... No Life King."
The screen flickered away, all that was left was the logo before the broadcast faded out.
