Alex was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois an only child. But was forced to move to a safe zone when the T-Virus spread to Chicago and lived from safe zone to safe zone. One afternoon while they were driving to the next safe zone their car crashed killing her family, but she herself survived unable to walk and was picked up by the security team that guarded the nearest safe zone.

Alex spent the next couple of years in rehab learning how to walk again. Through sheer force of will she was able to start walking again, albeit she needed a cane to manage it. But it was better than nothing. As she grew into a young adult she saw a need to help her country deal with the various threats from bio weapons and unnatural beings that threatened it. That was when she met a woman by the name of Zira Firestone and formed the basis of GUARDIAN. Recruiting various humans and even unnatural beings to help defend the country. She relocated her business to Ennerdale Street in Raccoon City and now sets her sights on the vampire Maricul and whoever released a 103 Tyrant into the city.
