"There isn't going to be any rescue, we have to get out of here!"
"I'll try to be less grouchy then." He said with a bit of a smile as she hugged him and he returned the hug although he didn't squeeze considering that he might have broken something if he did. He pretended like the punch hurt though he rubbed the other arm and gave out a fake ow noise before cracking a smile and giving her a direct line to his device. Even though he already had a means of contacting her through his phone. He looked over Harmony as he slung his book bag over his shoulder asking if she was ready to head back.

"Safe travels," Gabe said and Harmony headed out the door into the hall and pressed the elevator button, it was already one hell of a day. They had enough information now to set aside the past and look forward to a hell of a future. There were enemies pointing guns at them in every direction. As the elevator opened Harmony stepped inside and she turned around. When the doors closed she finally spoke.
"I'm not going to like," she began, "I'm scared right now."
He took a minute before speaking, he wanted to think his words over very carefully. Because the truth was that this information didn't exactly scare him, more so it spooked him into waking up finally. It was a kick in the ass to remind him that their true battle wasn't over and wasn't going to be over anytime soon until they finally killed Hija and wiped out his whole damned network. This new information just proved that point. The danger drew him instantly back into an older mind frame he used to have, it was something twisted about it but it honestly excited. He was excited for the war that was about to come and that bothered him, a lot.
"I wish I could say the same..." He finally spoke up, "Don't get me wrong, it's foreboding and you can't help but to dread the idea. But when you've lived things like this your entire life it becomes your normal." He took a minute before choosing his words carefully, but he just ended up asking a question "Am I messed up? I'm looking forward to returning to that normal and I don't know why."
