"There isn't going to be any rescue, we have to get out of here!"

Cassidy stared at Tony for a few seconds after he said what he said and then finally shook her head with a cute grin and said, "I have no idea what you're talking about but that's okay."
She finally finished off her drink and waved off a second one, no reason to drink tonight, there was a lot of work to do tomorrow and she was expecting to be in top form for a lot of the bullshit that was going to definitely come their way because of this one single event. Cass was expecting a message from Pliskin at any moment, she was wondering now if her mission objectives had changed at all now that Amy basically painted a target on her back.
"Welp, I guess I should call it a night now." He said strumming the table with his hands. "No doubt the chief and Valentine are gonna be the most happiest people in the station tomorrow." He muttered as he stood up and pulled out his wallet, paying for his meal, drink, and extra tip for Julie, Kris, and John even too. "You need a ride back to your place?"

"Unnecessary," Cassidy said, "I literally live across the street."
She still stood up and dropped a wad of cash on the counter, she didn't bother to count it, it didn't matter it was a tip for the service and the meal ticket. She walked Tony out, "don't worry about Grace, Burton might shift his main focus but Pliskin is putting the screws to him right now about the Tyrant case which is partially the reason I'm here. Another agent will be coming into town to handle the Grace case soon so, don't sweat it too much. You get some sleep, I got some unpacking to do."
He walked with Cassidy out of the building with his box of food and listened to her talk. "It's not that really. I'm worried because that woman is dangerous." He finally admitted, "She's lost all her friends from back in the day, her whole emotional support network is gone, and she's keeping some seriously dangerous company. From what Ol' Man is saying based on their last interaction I think this is only the beginning."
He shook his head, if he smoked he'd be lighting up right about now. "The problem is she's not just any normal Altered, she's got the power to literally bring this city crumbling down and not even bat an eye and it seems lately that her actions have gotten a bit more... withdrawn and just erratic lately." He let out another sigh, "Just seriously be careful is all I'm saying, She's a bomb and that hair trigger is really sensitive." He extended his hand to shake hers, "I look forward to continue working with you if you're still on my case by tomorrow. I'll see you in the office tomorrow?"

She fist bumped his palm, "I'll be in, hopefully I'll be able to find the coffee maker sooner than later tomorrow. Either way, drive safely, get home, sleep. Don't worry about her breaking the city."
Cass waved as she walked away and crossed the street. She let herself in the door and headed up to her apartment. Boxes, tons of boxes, most of them were case files on Grace, White Rabbit, Wonderland, and everything she had been associated with, it seemed like the information was endless. She was currently eyeballing the bathroom and the shower however, better sleep this day off and start fresh.
