Name: Cassidy D'Agata
Age: 25
Place of Birth: Chicago
Blood Type: A
Residence: Raccoon City Apartment Complex
Organization: D.S.O.
A by the book kind of person, Cass can be reluctant to let people in when she doesn't know them but also puts caution to the wind because of her background. She's your average woman on her off days but on the job she can be more of a strict person to deal with. She treats everyone respectfully because she demands the same respect back, disrespect her and she might grab you by the balls and head butt you in the face. At the end of the day she's less gritty and more realistic about her viewpoint of the world and about dealing with the horrors of life.
Classification: Human
Body Type: Lean
Height: 5'9

Appearance:
Born in Chicago during the outbreak, she knew no life other than survival and murder. She was raised by the gangs of Chicago and by proxy has ties to the Vittorios crime family, as well as the KING organization. Around 2020 she decided she wanted to be a cop and her father began teaching her how to shoot and how to fight. She was shipped off to D.C. to go to an academy and trained under several special agents who ran a police program there. Her time in D.C. was cut rather short after George Sears's death and several attacks on the city, she ended up moving to New York with her father and went to academy there in 2023.
She completed several training courses and ended up as a desk jocky for the NYPD in July of 2025. It was still the start of her life as a rookie cop, she had access to firing ranges and every so often her buddy got her on ride alongs so she could get experience on the ground. Things really went for a twist in December when local legend and Diamond Dog agents Amy Grace and Chris Redfield were both attacked. Grace was listed KIA while Redfield ended up in the hospital with life threatening issues. He was in a coma for a few months, during the A-Virus outbreak she and several officers were visiting, one of the officers being a former BSAA agent who worked with Redfield.
It was her first time going into action as infected runners took over the hospital. Something must have happened with the gunfire but Redfield ended up waking up in the middle of the nightmare, they were just outside when he came crashing through the door putting on a pair of pants.
"Gun," he yelled and without thinking his friend passed him his spare off his rear belt holster. The unit cleared the hall and kept uninfected people alive. It was amazing to watch Redfield go from coma to action, he put himself in front of everyone and used his brute strength and training to simply batter anything that got close, the infected couldn't overpower him and he was just too good a shot for anything to really get that close to him. She was amazing but at the same time her eye was on his back keeping him safe from angles he couldn't see just as his friend was as well.
The other officers were on rear flank watch but they were definitely running low on ammo. The horde was endless. Then several GENTEC security units rounded the corner, they had spare weapons in hand, ammunition, everything. It was her first time really getting into combat and yet she was a natural even as she was passed an M4 rifle. The survivors ended up on the same floor as them, they cut down the stairs and barricaded themselves onto the upper floors. It was a waiting game now but they would starve if they sat there long enough.
It had been a week...
"I'm going out," Chris said, "we need food or rescue."
"Listen, Chris I understand but our orders are to wait," replied the Gentec commander Renold.
"If we wait we're going to starve, and you can't get contact with GENTEC so what do you want me to do? I'm going out there and I'll bring back help," Chris said.
"I'll go with you," she said, she didn't even need another reason. She was cooped up here and needed an out, she rather face a horde than another hour of the whimpering and hunger.
"You sure," Chris asked, "if you fall behind I can't guarantee I can pull you out."
"If I fall behind, let me go," she said, "rather do something than sit around here."
"Alright," Chris said in reply he smiled.
They were outfitted with M4s and spare ammunition, both had 9mm pistols on them as well and were lightly geared with GENTEC vests, Chris slipped into one of the GENTEC guys BDUs and she slipped into a tight fitting jacket and jeans, it was going to be hell out there but it was better to stay compact than get grabbed and pulled into a swarm. The two exited via the elevator using the master key to stop on the 13th floor where no one rooms were, only AC equipment and storage, they then used a fire escape to get down to ground level on the side of the hospital where a side street was mostly empty.
"Stay quiet as long as possible, one shot and we're neck deep in runners," Chris said, he took his knife out and readied his M4 with his knife palmed against the angled grip. She raised her weapon as well and together they moved low and fast going cover to cover as long as they could crossing between car wrecks to stay out of sight on the main streets. The A-Virus zombies were content to wandering but mostly stayed in clusters, their nature was violent but also very social. She watched his movements, watched how smart he was with when he stopped and waited. She watched as he would give hand signals to her that she could understand so that he could move on his own and take out stragglers without them making noise.
It wasn't until they got closer to central park that they began hearing gun fire steadily, it sounded like a whole unit but it was just one man sitting on a turret with his back to a dead end street shooting down range. Chris pulled her off to the side, the noise was drawing a swarm of them and they ended up moving into an alleyway to watch. This man had a whole team with him watching his sides as he just continued firing and firing and firing, when his turret started to get hot and ran dry on ammo they took over while he cooled it down and reloaded.
"They have GENTEC patches," she pointed out to Chris looking through her M4 acog scope.
"Yeah, good to know not everyone is zombie food yet," Chris replied and patted her shoulder pointing down the street, there was another unit moving and shooting at a steady pace, "looks like they're some sort of clean up team or some sort of damage control team. That wall is what they're protecting."
"What do we do?"
"Stay here, if I get shot go back to the hospital and get Renold and tell him his men are dicks but they're alive still," he said and without another word he moved away from her jumping over the fence they were watching from and stepped into the street, making himself a target for the infected as he began to open fire on them to draw attention to himself.
It worked, the turret mans team began splitting up and moved to him, they were helping him clear and Chris looked back to her and motioned and she jumped the fence and ran to him. The clean up team was actually a relief team to help the man code named, Tachanka, and his team move from their location back to GENTEC. Once back at GENTEC Redfield told Sons of Sorrow commander, Vicente Souza, of commander Renold and the survivors at the hospital. Souza organized a team and included both Redfield and Cassidy to move to the hospital and retrieve the survivors.
They traveled in an APC with three empty ones following. Upon arrival a woman named Ela lead a team through the front of the hospital and they began a sweep, it was quick and organized, they moved floor to floor until hitting the elevators and called them and moved to the upper level. Meanwhile, Chris, Cassidy, and a woman code named Caveira held the streets with silenced rifles taking out oncoming stragglers. They had a unit with them as well and about thirty minutes later the survivors were on ground floor and loading up into the APCs and were heading to the GENTEC safe zone.
Cassidy didn't stop working just because she was safe now. She worked with Chris and several BSAA operatives to hunt down BOW targets and capture several Umbrella scientists during the A-Virus outbreak. When the cure came their work to continue hunting Umbrella and clear out any remaining infected became routine. She thought of joining the BSAA after the events until she met David Pliskin who was in town working on several operations for the DSO. It wasn't long after the cure when the final war with Umbrella began with Outer Haven raiding their main facility and Himura and the Red Devil ripping through the city. The safe zone was evacuated as their fight came closer and closer. She witnessed the events from the outskirts just as they tore through the walls.
"Go," Pliskin said to her, "I've got work to do here."
"Old man, come on, I'm not going anywhere without you," she said.
"Redfield, get her the hell out of here, listen when this is over I'll come find you," Pliskin nodded to her and put a device over his left eye, it almost looked like an eyepatch, he then took a headband and tied it over his forehead, "now get out of here. I have a war to end."
Chris pulled her away as Pliskin opened his locker, she saw what looked like a black body suit as she exited the room. She wouldn't understand that he was the Legendary Mercenary, Solid Snake, until years later. She didn't realize his entire mission revolved around this one moment, but she knew she needed to help in the evacuation. When the smoke eventually cleared and Himura was laying on the ground with Alice her life changed.
It was a few months later when she was thinking about going back to active duty at the police station when her phone rang.
"Is this Cassidy D'Agata," said a familiar voice.
"David?"
"Yeah," he said, "I'm coming back to the East, Sadler wants a D.S.O. office out there and I need to find prime recruits. Are you interested?"
"Damn straight," she replied.
From 2026 onward she was D.S.O. and trained under the Legendary Mercenary learning CQC at the highest level, gun control, and field control. She learned more than she ever could imagine just this man including stealth and melee weapons combat. Her choice of weapon shifted from a 9mm to a .45 easily and she would eventually add a HF Knife to her inventory when she became highly proficient with it. In 2027 she broke three course records for speed and accuracy, the first one was an agent in the West the next two were her own records. She trained alongside Skott King, another D.S.O. agent who specialized in sword combat and learned how to handle longer weapons. By 2028 she was officially a full fledged D.S.O. agent but still a little fresh.
She went on several missions into the dead zone with a Western operative, Leon Kennedy, to shut down several bandit camps using docile 103s as weapons. Then spent time in a D.C. reclamation project to eliminate B.O.W. control over the area so they could reclaim it faster. With the events happening in Raccoon city in 2029 she was reassigned to the RPD on her own, her first solo case.
"Don't screw it up rookie," Pliskin said, "your old friend works in the RPD, and keep an eye out for a Kennedy, he should be somewhere in there."
"Got it. Thanks for everything."
"Just don't screw up kid," Pliskin said and patted her on the shoulder.
It was her first time in Raccoon city, and it was going to be a crazy ride.
